Robert Wilson, a leader of the postdramatic.

Robert Wilson is an American theatre practitioner, but he's also much more.  His practice has inspired a re-imagining of what theatre can be. This essay will explore the ways in which Robert Wilson makes theatre and what some of his influences have been.

Upcoming Play: Or Are We Dancers?

Our upcoming play is called Or Are We Dancers, due to be performed at the Joe H Makin drama centre on March 13th. It is a short 20 minute piece based on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche and the prologue to his book Thus Spake Zarathustra. The piece uses movement, storytelling, expressionism, naturalism, and humour. We will explore the situation of Maria and Francis, who are trapped in a hot, stagnant world of their own making; yet the hunter’s moon is rising and will to power rages in the belly of the giving earth. What are we, human or dancers?
